During 07–13 September 2026, semiconductor manufacturing, agricultural development, electric mobility and multiple government recruitment processes are among the key areas to watch. Semicon India 2.0 expands policy support across the semiconductor value chain, while additional support under PM-RKVY and Krishonnati Yojana is aimed at strengthening agriculture. POLICY 01
Semicon India 2.0: ₹1,27,500 करोड़ का semiconductor framework
Semicon India 2.0 Expands Support Across the Semiconductor Value Chain
Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology ने 31 अगस्त/1 सितंबर 2026 को Semicon India 2.0 को अधिसूचित किया। इस framework का कुल outlay ₹1,27,500 करोड़ है और इसका उद्देश्य semiconductor value chain के पूरे ecosystem को मजबूत करना है। इसमें chip design, semiconductor fabs, packaging, equipment, materials, testing, research and development तथा talent development शामिल हैं।
मुख्य सहायता: Chip design/IP के लिए start-ups और MSMEs को project cost का 50% या अधिकतम ₹15 करोड़ तक seed support; newly launched chips पर 5 वर्षों के लिए net sales का 9% deployment-linked incentive; silicon wafer fabs के लिए eligible capex का 40% तक तथा compound/discrete/display fabs और advanced packaging के लिए 35% तक सहायता का प्रावधान है।
Equipment, materials, testing और R&D के लिए eligible capex का 30% तक support दिया जा सकता है। Semiconductor design engineering talent के लिए पांच वर्षों में 1 लाख engineers को train करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। Fab, packaging, equipment और chip-design projects engineering, technician, operator और skilling-to-placement opportunities को बढ़ा सकते हैं।
Semicon India 2.0 is designed to support the entire semiconductor value chain, including chip design, fabs, packaging, equipment, materials, testing, R&D and talent. The programme also creates potential employment pathways in engineering, technician, operator, manufacturing and semiconductor design roles.
AGRICULTURE 02
PM-RKVY और Krishonnati Yojana के लिए ₹1,183.11 करोड़ की दूसरी tranche
Additional Support for Agriculture in Five States
PM-RKVY और Krishonnati Yojana के तहत दूसरी tranche के रूप में ₹1,183.11 करोड़ की राशि पांच राज्यों—उत्तराखंड, आंध्र प्रदेश, ओडिशा, तमिलनाडु और त्रिपुरा—के लिए जारी/स्वीकृत की गई है। इसका उद्देश्य किसानों की आय बढ़ाना, cultivation cost कम करना और आधुनिक कृषि तकनीक को बढ़ावा देना है।
ओडिशा के लिए महत्व: राज्य इस प्रकार की सहायता को agriculture development, farm mechanisation, post-harvest management, value-chain infrastructure और technology-based agricultural activities में deploy कर सकता है। Implementation, field-level और vendor-related opportunities संबंधित state-level execution पर निर्भर करेंगी।
The funding is intended to support farm incomes, reduce cultivation costs and encourage modern agricultural technology. In Odisha, implementation priorities may include mechanisation, post-harvest systems, value chains and other state-specific agricultural development activities.

Heavy-duty EVs के लिए लगभग 1 लाख वाहनों की संभावित सहायता योजना
New Support Scheme for Heavy-Duty Electric Vehicles Under Consideration
Ministry of Heavy Industries लगभग 1,00,000 heavy-duty electric vehicles को support करने वाली नई scheme पर विचार कर रहा है। प्रस्तावित framework FAME, PM E-DRIVE और PM E-Bus Sewa जैसी existing electric-mobility initiatives की दिशा को आगे बढ़ा सकता है।
महत्वपूर्ण: यह अभी notified scheme नहीं है। इसलिए इसे confirmed subsidy या active recruitment opportunity के रूप में नहीं माना जाना चाहिए। यदि योजना अधिसूचित होती है, तो freight vehicles, buses और commercial fleets से जुड़े subsidy, procurement और tender opportunities सामने आ सकती हैं।
The Ministry of Heavy Industries is reportedly considering support for around 100,000 heavy-duty EVs. Since the proposal has not yet been notified, any subsidy, tender or eligibility details should be treated as prospective until an official notification is issued.
